Avenue has an opening for a Strategic Copywriter (Associate Creative Director). This person will have
responsibilities overseeing the creative Proposal, The Strategic
Copywriter must have strong oral/written communication,
presentation skills, strong conceptualization skills, experience
managing multiple projects, interfacing with clients and in
developing creative solutions. The person must have a background
rooted in Event Management & traditional marketing principles,
leadership abilities that inspire
trust.
The ideal candidate
will have an extensive and progressive background in Event
Management copywriting and interactive marketing experience. He/She
will also have both the talent and willingness to be a hands-on
manager and mentor to a diverse team. A minimum of 3 years
experience in creative is required.
Responsibilities:
· Manage creative on multiple interactive accounts from
strategic conception through production
· Supervise, lead, inspire a team on various levels
· Allocate resources and define scope of work
· Execute projects and manager to time/budget parameters
· Present and sell in work to clients
· Develop strategic business platforms with account and
production teams
· Shape the creative vision for clients/projects, define
and maintain visual/copy identities
· Write presentations as well as be hands on with copy
development
· Support new business and take creative lead in pitch
process
· Liaison and collaborate with the traditional creative
dept.
· Advance the overall quality of strategic thinking and
design applied technology.
Requirements
· Understanding of Event Management and Strategic
marketing
· Experience in developing communications for both
Clients and Sponsors
· Understanding of usability, functionality and GUI
· Ability to bring Solutions to the table and solve
problems and resolve issues
· Experience in Event management and/or Advertising
· Must have Management/Supervisory experience
